Bungalow

The timber bungalow was owner built with some local materials, the wall lining was milled on site from a rain forest tree, and the furniture is made from salvaged black bean timber. This bungalow is self contained with some basic barbeque cooking facilities so you can do all your own meals.
If you can’t be bothered self-catering, there’s cafes and restaurants just around the corner.

Our other room is called the Bungalow, this self contained accommodation has an open outdoor bathroom and a private trail with seating area behind the cabin. It also has a BBQ area where you can do your own cooking and free Wi-Fi up to 100 MB per device per day.

This cabin deep inside the lush Daintree rain forest is the ideal choice for couples seeking a real jungle experience to get away from it all, with prolific wildlife and surrounded by the oldest jungle in the world.

The property also contains a sculpture trail, a beautiful fresh water creek to jump in to cool down (not during dry season).

Rates quoted are per room (not per person) and include all linen, towels, coffee and tea.

Elise Detrez, Best Job In The World Queensland Tourism Campaign stayed in this bungalow in 2013 and gave us a Queensland Best Accommodation 2013 award!

Everybody loves the outdoor bath room of this bungalow, and the private walking trail to a seating area in the jungle behind the bungalow.
